VTC - Vacuum Tube Cutting
New vacuum technology ensures high-precision cutting
Medical tubes are fed using vacuum picking, this ensures precise cutting lengths for all product dimensions.
The vacuum picking system is friction- and slippage-free even for difficult to handle tubes. This prevents squeezing and damaging of the tubes, which can often be a problem with other systems such as belt- or roll-drive feeding.
Thanks to 4-channel cutting, the VTC Base manages to achieve excellent cycle times.
VTC Base
Can be operated as a fully functional cutting machine or upgraded at any point of time with additional feeding and/ or processing modules.
Software: OPC UA & controlled user access
The VTC Base uses OPC UA so the communication from the machine’s sensors up to ERP system or cloud remains safe, flexible and independent – ideal for industry 4.0.
The Software includes a database where you can select and save your product profiles and cutting parameters as recipes. All changes to parameters and operations on the machine are logged in the audit trail, which can be exported as a PDF-report.
A batch-number can be manually entered or scanned using a datamatrix-/ barcode-scanner and is then linked to product profile and cutting parameters. This guarantees full traceability and convenient batch management of the products produced on the VTC Base.

Manual loading
The manual loading system lets the operator load the machine safe and efficiently, even during run time.

Automated straight tube feeding
The automated tube feeder lets the VTC Base operate autonomously for longer periods of time (depending on the straight tube length).

Spool feeding
With our spool feeding system the VTC Base can cut spooled materials. To prevent lot intermixture and reducing the amount of exposed raw material the VTC Base cuts on a single channel when using spool feeding.
